I recall at one point, having a desire to learn about everything there is to learn about. I valued knowledge like it enriched my life more than anything could.

But it seems the more I know, the less I want to learn.

"demise in the sky" .... you saying the aliens coming to get us? tell me it ain't so! when i was little, i thought about my career, everyone told me i should... i decided, at an early age, that the job i really wanted was to be god. well, omnipotent at least, not necessarily in charge of anything, but it seemed, in my limited understanding of the world, that the only way to obtain omnipotence was to be god. so, i set out to make my dream a reality. i figured, if i go through the church, they got the path to god all laid out. i'll start with altar boy, then i can be a <whatever, blah, blah> then the pope, then when there's an opening, someday, i just might get promoted to god. i like the commentary with your deviant id, but the little alien dude with the flower is a more fun icon.
